PYRAMIDS & PIPES LAUNCH PARTY

PYRAMIDS & PIPES by Electronic Sheep is a new collection of knitted hats and scarves with stories of sea and travel, designed by London/Dublin based Irish born Brenda Aherne and Helen Delany.

THURSDAY 14TH OCTOBER 7PM TILL 9PM. NO-ONE. 1 KINGSLAND ROAD. LONDON. E2 8AA

The PYRAMIDS & PIPES collection is a voyage of accidental discovery. It takes its inspiration from the travels of Sir Francis Drake – his early European perceptions of the New World provide the inspiration for collages of exotic fruits, herbs, sea life, the woods, Native American boats and, of course, tobacco pipes.

The event also marks the beginning of Electronic Sheep’s participation in Wool Week and The Campaign for Wool. Wool Week is all about saving sheep and promoting wool – something important to Electronic Sheep!

Expect to see a wonderful display of knitwear in No-one’s wool themed window. Also previewing Electronic Sheep’s current collaboration – woollen patchwork furniture pieces created with Royal College of Art graduate Lucy Fine’s label ‘Save our Souls’ who re-uses Electronic Sheep knitwear to make patchwork textiles. The lambswool jacquards are combined with patchwork cashmere and vintage fabrics to make playful furniture pieces and cushions. All items are bespoke and handmade in London.
