The Victoria has a long standing heritage as a genuine Victorian pub. It has been a centre of the community throughout the last 100 years and its stunning 1950’s era bar island takes centre stage in the venue, illuminated, and boasting the kind of drinks offer you’d expect to find; JaguarShoes classic cocktails, locally brewed craft beers and a selection of new and old world organic and vegan wines.

Our live music room has been at the centre of the London scene since the 80s and we are proud to carry the torch for this prolific venue. We believe grass-roots venues like The Victoria are vital to the arts and British culture, therefore we put in a lot of work and love into providing a platform for creative minds.

MUSIC

The music room at The Victoria has been on the radar of gig goers for more than 3 decades and is one of the best live rooms in East London. Ben Heath, who owned and ran infamous Shoreditch club CATCH (2001-2009), joined the founders of Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes in recreating this club.

In the Spring of 2015 we re-launched the space independently to the pub, building an exciting a new programme of live music and club nights and working with the industry’s best promoters such as Bird On The Wire, Eat Your Own Ears, Parallel Lines, Bad Vibrations, Upset The Rhythm, Metropolis, DHP and many more.

DRINKS AND FOOD

The drinks focus is premium Rum which is the obvious choice given the Caribbean influence on the area in recent decades and the fact that rum is not quite so serious a companion as it’s peers… Rum, can just be fun! Relaxed, familiar, playful. That’s the proposition at the Victoria. A friendly local pub with a great atmosphere. No ‘pretentious’ pretentiousness… just good clean unpretentious pretentiousness.

Kotch is an east London based brand popular for its stone-baked pizzas and brunch with an Italian twist. Kotch currently operates different venues too, providing exciting gourmet burgers and pub food only using the finest ingredients and unique recipes. They provide a full range of meaty, vegetarian and vegan options ensuring even the most demanding clientele is satisfied. Everything is prepared in-house, taste is superb and refined.
