In the lead up to Notting Hill Carnival and in celebration of National Burger Day the hair-brained chefs at Psychic Burger have smashed heads with the mixologists and creatives at JaguarShoes to create CARNIVAL ‘RUM’ BURGER…
A behemoth of a burger designed in celebration of carnival:
Jerked, aged beef patty, charred pineapple ring marinated in rum caramel spiced psychic sauce and a sprinkling of carnival gold dust.
PSYCHIC burger are resident at THE VICTORIA, JaguarShoes Collective’s music venue, where rum is the speciality. This weekend there is an amazing line up of pre / after parties perfect for before and after you bounce at Carnival;
Rory Philips, 28th August, Mark Moore 29th and a Pacific Socialism all day’er on the 30th.
The Carnival Burger will be available all week as a special at The Victoria, 451 Queensbridge Rd Hackney.
Psychic Burger
Pioneering Burger experimenters, Psychic Burger have built a loyal following for their lean, deep patty, signature burger and have repeatedly stirred up a storm of press with their specials; the Soft-Shell Crab Burger, or the fine dining inspired horse burger.

Is a historic Dalston Pub, Music, Film and Arts Venue that is part of JAGUARSHOES COLLECTIVE that maintains an exciting program of live music events and dance club nights.
Serving classic cocktails, locally brewed craft beers and a selection of new and old world wines the focus at the Victoria is speciality premium Rum, which seemed the obvious choice given the Caribbean influence on the surrounding area in recent decades and the fact that rum mixed with music = FUN!

Blackwell’s Dark Rum
Blackwell Rum is the brainchild of Chris Blackwell, an international music icon, entrepreneur and cultural pioneer. With his music label, Island Records, Chris brought the best of Jamaican reggae – Bob Marley, Peter Tosh among others.
Blackwell’s is a finest rum made from Jamaican sugar cane and distilled by Jamaican workers. Chris loves Jamaica and believes in the product he’s sharing with the world and portion of all sales goes to Island ACTS (Assisting Communities Toward Strength), an organization which helps better the local community.
