From the 26th – 29th November we will be teaming up with Joe’s Tea Company and taking residency at our Christmas pop-up Emporium.
To celebrate the launch of our new Tea-ware we will be hosting our pop-up with the new boy on the Tea block, Joe Kinch.
Joe’s niche is offering organic fine teas without fuss, or any of the bravado or pretentiousness normally associated with premium products. His range includes familiar classics flanked by a host of boutique blends designed to quench people’s thirst for a more creative cuppa and inspire a new breed of tea drinker.
Joe Kinch originally trained as a chef – learning from a young age how to combine flavours and carefully select ingredients – and he approaches tea-making in the same way.
Using large whole leaves to maximize flavour, Joe’s Tea comes in corn starch ‘good-to-go’ fuso bags. It’s a bit of a mouth-full but it means they’re biodegradable and allow all of the flavour to get out of the bag.The leaves can expand and infuse like a good tea should do. It means that Joe’s Ever-So English Breakfast and Whiter Than White tea have none of the bitterness you may get with other similar teas – just pure, refreshing loveliness.
Joe will be hosting a tasting session from midday onwards on Thursday 29th November.
Alongside Joe’s Tea our usual collections will also be available; Electronic Sheep knitwear, Noemi Klein jewellery, Black eyewear, Veja wallets, Lucy Peacock silk scarves, the recently released Wonderwalls book by Supermarket Sarah, a selection of specially commissioned Christmas cards and much more.
Spiced cider/ mulled wine and cinnamon topped Allpress cappucino’s will be available from the cafe, along with its usual selection of teas, coffee, freshly made sandwiches, snacks and pastries.
To coincide with late night shopping The Campari Bar will be at The Old Shoreditch Station every Thursday and Friday night from 6pm to 9pm throughout the Kings From The East Christmas Emporium period.
